Select optionA polycarbonate replica of the UK provisional driving licence, the pink-bordered learner card, built on the same substrate the DVLA uses for its current full licence, with laser-engraved data, hologram, and microprint.
The UK provisional driving licence, the pink-bordered version issued by the DVLA to learner drivers before they pass the practical test, uses the same substrate as the full UK licence: a multi-layer polycarbonate sandwich. The data fields are laser-engraved rather than ink-printed, the photo is laser-burned into the polycarbonate layers rather than being a separate overlay, and the hologram is a DVLA-specific kinegram positioned over the photo. Most novelty UK provisional cards on the market cut corners by printing on PVC, which is faster and cheaper but produces a card that feels too smooth and too rigid to read as a current DVLA-issued licence. This product takes the harder route. We build the card on the same multi-layer polycarbonate substrate, we laser-engrave the data, and we apply the DVLA hologram pattern in the correct position. The result is a provisional replica that physically reads as a current DVLA card rather than a printed novelty. The pink border that distinguishes a provisional from a full licence is preserved, and the category column on the back shows only those categories a provisional holder is entitled to drive. This product is offered strictly for novelty, costume, theatrical, prop, and collector use. Using a replica to misrepresent your identity to UK authorities, including the DVLA, the DVSA, or any police force, is an offence under the Identity Documents Act 2010 and we do not condone any such use.

Our standard UK provisional licence is produced on PVC, which is faster, cheaper, and looks correct from a distance. The polycarbonate variant is built on the same multi-layer plastic substrate the DVLA uses, with the photo and data laser-engraved into the layers rather than printed on top. The result is a heavier, slightly more flexible card with tactile text and a photo that cannot be peeled or scratched off because it is part of the substrate itself. Touch-tested side by side, the polycarbonate version is the only one that reads as a current DVLA card.
Yes. The pink border that distinguishes a provisional licence from a full pink-and-green DVLA licence is preserved exactly. The category column on the back shows only those categories a provisional holder is legally entitled to drive, typically category B with code 101, rather than the full set that appears on a fully-qualified licence.
Yes. The card carries the DVLA-pattern UV features in the correct positions, including the UV-reactive elements over the photo and the secondary UV pattern on the back. Under blacklight the card returns the same pattern a current DVLA-issued licence would return.
Yes. We ship to the UK and worldwide. All shipments use plain unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside indicating the contents. Standard delivery is approximately 20 business days; Priority is 10 to 14 business days. A tracking number is provided when the package leaves our facility.
The order form lets you specify which categories should appear on the back of the card along with any restriction codes. A digital proof is sent for your approval before printing so you can verify everything.
