Select optionAn Ohio Commercial Driver's License replica on polycarbonate with accurate class designation, endorsement codes, and the BMV's current security feature set, including the laser-engraved finish.
Ohio's commercial licensing is administered by the BMV under the same federal CDL framework used nationwide. The current Ohio CDL card series uses a polycarbonate substrate with laser engraving instead of the older inkjet-on-Teslin format that has dominated the novelty market for years. The card includes the OHIO COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE header above the photo, a class letter (A, B, or C), endorsement codes (H, N, P, S, T, X), restriction codes, and a state seal hologram positioned over the photo. The back carries a PDF417 barcode encoded in the AAMVA format containing the same data shown on the front. Our replica recreates every one of these elements. We use multi-layer polycarbonate rather than Teslin, we laser-engrave the text so it has the same tactile finish as the genuine card, the hologram pattern matches the current BMV series, and the PDF417 returns matching data when scanned. The result is a card that visually and physically reads as a contemporary Ohio CDL rather than an outdated novelty replica. This product is sold for novelty, theatrical, prop, and collector use only. Commercial licensing fraud carries federal penalties under 18 U.S.C. § 1028 and we do not endorse any unlawful use of the product.

A standard Ohio operator's license is for non-commercial driving. The CDL adds a commercial header above the photo, a different class designation (Class A or B for the larger vehicles, Class C for smaller commercial vehicles or HazMat in non-tanker quantities), and endorsement letters such as H, N, P, S, T, or X. The hologram and substrate are similar, but the CDL carries additional federal data fields and a different class indicator.
Ohio's current CDL series is produced on polycarbonate rather than Teslin. Polycarbonate is laser-engraved, which gives the text a tactile, slightly burned-in finish that printed cards cannot replicate. A current-format Ohio CDL on Teslin would fail a touch test immediately because the surface is too smooth and the print sits on top of the laminate instead of within it.
Yes. The order form supports any class (A, B, or C) and any combination of the federal endorsements (H, N, P, S, T, X). You receive a digital proof for approval before we print so you can verify the designations are correct.
Yes. The barcode is encoded in the AAMVA D20 format that Ohio uses with the same data shown on the front. A standard ID scanner reads back matching name, date of birth, license number, class, endorsements, and dates.
We ship in plain unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside indicating the contents. Standard takes about 20 business days; Priority takes 10 to 14 business days. Tracking is included once the package leaves our facility.
